Style Editor – Sunday Telegraph
Prue Lewington is a sweet, fashion-loving boho with an impressive CV that spans over 15 years – working for US Harper’s Bazaar, Australian Harper’s Bazaar, Nylon Magazine, New York Post not too mention a stint assisting fashion maven, Patricia Field on Sex and the City.
She is now the Style Editor for the Sunday Telegraph in Sydney and mum to 2 adorable little boys, Oliver and newly born Lucio.
I would describe my style as… eclectic
The best (fashion) lesson I’ve learnt is… to stick to classic well-made pieces that won’t be out next season.
My most recent fashion purchase was… a pair of harem shaped, Ginger & Smart elastic-waisted pants.
I keep buying more… elastic waisted pants! Because I’m pregnant for the second time this year, I’ve been buying a lot of loose-fitting separates.  I’ve always liked wearing floaty fabrics because you feel free and unrestricted. If you’re not comfortable, it’ll show on your face.
I need more… Isabel Marant tops and jackets.
I wish I’d never… shopped the cheap chain street stores in my twenties. I should have spent more money on good quality vintage while I lived in NY.
If I could only keep 3 things in my wardrobe, they would be… my Rag & Bone tuxedo jacket, skinny jeans and a printed Equipment silk shirt.
My favourite labels are… Isabel Marant, Chloe and Ginger & Smart.
My favourite online shops are… La Garconne and Net-A-Porter, even if it’s just for inspiration.
I always feel great when I wear… loose, layered shapes
Any outfit looks better on… a well-groomed woman.
