I haven’t always been a stylist.
Many years ago whilst completing a commerce degree, I had a job at a merchant bank. The bank was very traditional and had strict rules regarding office attire.
My favourite part of the day was getting dressed for work – very telling in hindsight, yes? I loved experimenting with the idea of ‘corporate dress’, finding new ways to bend the rules (much to the amusement of my colleagues).
For my shoot today, I was reliving those days.
Have a little fun with the classics – combine sharp tailoring with bold prints, a tailored man-style waistcoat with silk pyjama pants and if in doubt, embellish.
