I have known and admired Marie-Claude Mallat for many years.

She is the incredibly stylish, terribly talented and thoroughly unpretentious Director of the public relations agency MCMPR, who represent some fashion names you may have heard of: NET-A-PORTER, Zimmermann and Country Road to name just a few.

When I think of Marie-Claude Mallat, she is always smiling. Even when we turned up at her house at 10am on a Sunday morning to photograph her for INEZ Daily.

I would describe my style as… quality and cut over flashy fads.

The best (fashion) lesson I’ve learnt is… not every fashion trend is going to suit me. I try to focus on my shape, size and skin tone when making decisions on what to buy.

My most recent fashion purchase is…a great pair of Celine summer sandals. They will work with everything in my wardrobe…or at least that’s what I told myself as I handed over my credit card to the lovely salesman at Barney’s 😉

I keep buying more….shoes! I’ve just discovered Japanese label Toga….it adds a quirky touch to classics.

I need more…relaxed weekend wear. I focus too much on what I’m wearing to work.

I wish I’d never bought… the chocolate patent Chloe sky high wedges. They’re hazardous.

If I could only keep 3 things in my wardrobe, they would be… my gold heart Carolina Barbiera necklaces – I have one to represent each of my kids and I never take them off. My John Bartlett wedding dress simply because I can’t believe I was ever that tiny! And a crazy bright orange pair of satin and chocolate patent Prada shoes – I’d never wear them again but they sure saw some dance floors that summer – they make me smile every time I look at them.

My favourite labels are…too many to list. Every brand that our agency represents has prize of place in my wardrobe. I love mixing these with French style and contemporary American brands like Carven, APC, Celine, Phillip Lim & Alexander Wang.

My favourite online shop is… NET-A-PORTER.COM hands down.

I always feel great when I wear… my Annick Goutal perfume which my kids buy me for Mother’s Day (every year!)

Any outfit looks better with… a ManiaMania accessory.
