I honestly never thought I’d say this, but I’m quite keen on purchasing  a pair of kitten heels.

The kitten heel is a silhouette that I’d never aspired to. They always seemed waaayy to sensible a heel to be taken seriously.

But then Emmanuelle Alt (Editor, Paris Vogue) started wearing them with her skinny jeans and boyfriend shirts and they looked sexy. And then Hedi Slimae featured them so convincingly in his recent Saint Laurent Spring 14 collection, in the most delicious palette of leopard print, snake skin and patent leather (see pic) that I started looking at them in a whole new light.

Fashion’s funny like that. Never say never!
