I’ve long had a soft-spot for canvas.

I love the raw, simple, uncomplicated-ness of it.

Due to it’s sturdy disposition, it has traditionally been used for making sails, tents, backpacks and all other manner of intrepid accessories.

Recently it has come to my attention however that Clare Vivier has also been harbouring a soft-spot, using heavyweight cotton canvas for her adorable ‘Marine’ bucket totes:
