The Mule is having a moment (and no, I’m not referring to the furry kind with curious parentage).

For the uninitiated, they’re those slip-on shoes that are all ‘party’ at the front and… well, nothing at the back.

Whilst their heels can vary, my favourite styles have a little height – which just so happens to look fab with pretty much everything (read: this seasons essential midi-skirt, a slim, cropped pant, ankle jeans, a kimono jacket, a trench coat… you get the idea).
