When it comes to most things, I’m open to a persuasive argument. Fashion is no exception.

Case in point: gold medallions. For so long I’ve placed them in the ‘not-for-me’ basket (and I suspect you may have too).

But then Dolce & Gabbana built the most wonderful, heavily embellished collection around these gilded curios that was equal parts lovely, mischievous and ethereal.

And just like that, I’m all:

“But of course! You’re so right Dolce & Gabbana. How did I never see this before?”
