Magali Pascalâs story reads a little bit like your ‘dream-you’ – born in France, she studied fashion design at ENSAD, the much revered decorative arts school in Paris.
Then, in 2002 after the launch of her first collection for Galeries Lafayette, Magali discovered and fell in love with the island of Bali, and made the decision to move there and create her own brand.
Fast forward to today, she has 3 boutiques in Seminyak and a very loyal following across the world of girls who canât get enough of her signature feminine, French bohemian way with silks, lace and the prettiest little embellishments.
But it doesnât end there. She and her and husband, Matt Neville (who also has his own label, From) have just opened a restaurant, Corner House in Seminyak. Reflective of Magaliâs French roots, they have lovingly considered every French Provincial inspired detail with its polished cement walls, handmade floor tiles and the best collection of lovingly procured curios.
And this is where we met, curled up on a linen upholstered sofa, sipping smoothies and chatting about her new furry-child, Freckles (the ever-hungry-beagle), her recent dash to Singapore for surgery on her broken hand (when she tripped over Freckles) and all things fashion.

5 words to describe my style are… feminine, french, chic, bohemian and effortless.
My go-to outfit is… a lace top, skinny jeans and a pair of stilettos.
On the top of my wish list is… travel to new and exiting countries.
The best (fashion) lesson I’ve learnt is… less is more.
My most recent fashion purchase is⊠a vintage 1920s shirt from the Paris markets.
I keep buying more⊠basics.
I need more⊠time to go on holidays đ
I wish I’d never bought⊠my new puppy ‘Freckles’, he’s been eating everything in the office!
If I could only keep 3 things in my wardrobe, they would be⊠some ankle boots, a silk chiffon skirt  and a basic tee.
My favourite labels areâŠÂ From (my husband’s brand), Iro, Celine and Isabel Marant.
I always feel happy when I wear⊠my Magali Pascal lace blouse with my Isabel Marant boots.
Any outfit looks better with… a red lipstick and a bit of attitude,
