Where I live, the last few days have been deliciously balmy (apologies to my northern hemisphere friends).

This has gotten me a wee bit excited about summer. My wardrobe seems to be purpose-built for the warmer months, whilst only politely tolerating winter.

One of my favourite warm weather allies: The Smock – this wonderfully ambiguous, generously proportioned, swishy summer staple look great on its own, but also works really well worn over a denim skirt, tucked loosely into a pair of shorts or else thrown over a bikini.

Now all that’s needed to complete this look is the perfect pair of summer sandals… but more on that to come.
