When talking about a neutral palette… you know, those colours that work with pretty much everything, thoughts of black, white and tan will most often come to mind.

But I reckon you should always throw khaki into the mix as well – whilst universally flattering, it so often gets overlooked in the ‘staple’ stakes.

In an effort to change all that, today we’ve shot one of my favourite khaki pieces – the military shirt.

Dress is up with a statement earring and heels, or else down with denim and sneakers – it all works!

And the best bit?

So great is this handsome essential that you’ll find yourself still wearing it in years to come.
