Where does ‘style’ come from??

I’ve been a Fashion Director and Stylist for a long, long (loooong) time and what I’ve observed over the years is that your individual style is a direct reflection of what inspires you – that random collection of seemingly disparate things that your reach for, seek out and long to do.

Motivated by this, I’m kicking off a new section at INEZ Daily called:

‘MOOD BOARD’

…plundering my address book of terribly talented, stylish sorts that always seem to get it SO right and finding out what’s inspiring them.

And the launch of ‘MOOD BOARD’ just so happens to also coincide with Australian Fashion Week 2015, when fashion’s most talented come out to play.

So to get the ball rolling, I’m starting with a ‘MOOD BOARD x Australian Fashion Week Special’, peeking inside the creative minds of some of the industry’s best.

Today it’s one of my all-time favourites, Lee Mathews.

With such a beautifully uncomplicated aesthetic, I’ve long been a fan of her elegant, thoughtful and yet wonderfully unselfconsciousness collections.
