Diana Vreeland (1903 – 1989) was the charismatic, outspoken and fabulously eccentric editor that insisted on challenging convention and whose legacy is still felt to this day.

With a life took her from Belle Epoque Paris to Studio 54 and a career that included columnist and fashion editor for US Harper’s Bazaar (1936 – 1962), editor-in-chief for US Vogue (1963 – 1971) and later consultant to the Costume Institute at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, her life’s work was immortalised a couple of years ago in that wonderful fashion documentary, The Eye Has To Travel.

But that wasn’t to be the end of it…

Diana Vreeland Parfums has launched a line of fragrances inspired by her life.

“When you were in her presence, you felt a sense of possibility,” says Alexander Vreeland, the editor’s grandson and the creative force behind Diana Vreeland Parfums. “We wanted these fragrances to capture that mood of fearlessness.”

With rich blends of nutmeg, Tunisian orange blossom, fresh crushed leaves, amber, bourbon vanilla and currant buds to name but a few, they all come together to create the prettiest line up of heady, genderless scents.
