Hi Inez,

I’ve looked everywhere for a cool pair of black pants but not having any luck finding a good pair for under $300.

These would be for work in a smart casual environment. Something that I could wear with a denim jacket and boots, or dress them up with a blazer and medium heel.

The length is not an issue (I love anything that cuts at the ankle!) however they can’t be waist high as I’m high waisted. I would love something fitted however not tight.

I don’t think I’m asking for too much, however I’ve had no luck finding the right pair at a reasonable price. Hope you can point me into the right direction.

I totally feel your pain!

Over the years, I amassed a whole library of black pants that all served a different purpose (Date-Night-Me, Comfy-Casual-Me, Trying-To-Look-Like-A-Grown-Up-Me)… but then I found the Boden ‘Chelsea Turn-Up’ and now that’s pretty much all I wear!

Made from a sturdy, polished stretch -cotton, they hold their shape but give in all the right places – and their cropped length means they look equally good with pumps and wedges as they do with sandals and sneakers.

They also come in three different lengths (petite, regular and long) as well as ever changing seasonal colours and prints…

Oh, and did I mention they’re cheap?
