Megan Mortonâs unique style resonates so joyously with all that know her.
When I think of Megan, merry words like whimsy, swoon and delight come to mind.
A never ending source of wondrous thoughts, ideas, tips and observations, her vision extends to absolutely everything from homewares to holidays, art, fashion, food, floristry and even Easter hat parades.
It comes as no surprise then that since launching INEZ Daily: Shortcuts Iâve had many, many requests for Meganâs âlistâ.
Want to know where Megan heads to for cocktails, frocks, books and so much moooore??

Fashion:
I chase Rosie Assoulian, I love Jac+Jack for quiet clothes and Valentino and Oscar de la Renta (pref vintage) for loud clothes. I also adore La Double J –Â my American friend and vintage dealer, JJ who’s based in Milan and First Dibs under ‘clothes’ or wearables as I like to call them.
Homewares:
I shop the world over for ornaments and home treasures – the list would be ten pages!
Books:
Potts Point Bookshop but I’ll give my money to any book store, vintage dealer or new that will take my money.
Coffee:
Fratelli Paradiso. Those who have done my science of styling class know why. Plus handsome Italians and full strength coffee.
Lunch:
West Juliet for pulled pork and cordials.
Family Meals:
House of Crabs in Surry Hills
Date night:
Golden Age Cinema and Bar with martinis, toasted Ruben sandwiches and art house films on a weeknight.
Groceries:
Aldi, I’m happy to say and my real food from my local farmers market.
Butcher:
Mickâs Meats in Dulwich Hill. I don’t go weekly but when there’s time, a drive to Dulwich Hill is so worth it. I also buy meat through my bone broth dealer, Michelle Scheopes at Love & Bones Broth. I love bone broth like I love the sunshine.
Bottle shop:
Camperdown Cellars where you can buy alcohol and Paddle Pops with the same PayPass. Also, Archie Rose for my gin (ever so accessible to my office – literally my next door neighbour!)
Take Away:
I choose a dinner service called Dinner Ladies over takeaway.
Florist:
Of course, Grandiflora.
