I’ve owned many bags over the years – the prettiest chorus line of clutch purses, hobos, buckets and shoulder bags.

My personal favourite however is the leather tote, with its simple lines and generous proportions that so stylishly agrees to whatever I throw at it – case in point, my most recent purchase is currently carrying my wallet, keys, phone, a bag of sea shells and a #4 cake tin (true story).
