Fashion as Medicine

Thursday 26th Nov 2015

* Disclaimer: Whilst the following may sound like a sponsored post, I guarantee you it’s not. I’m just REALLY excited about M2M… which goes a long way to explaining why I come off sounding like a crazed fangirl.

So it all started with me laid up (yes, again… sigh) with a bad back.

This was the first opportunity that I’d had to properly explore the new world that is M2M (which stands for Made to Measure).

This new fashion channel, exclusive to Apple TV is what I like to refer to as ā€˜All Killer, No Filler’, just busting at the seams (geddit??) with fashion films, documentaries, biopics, interviews and runway shows.

In one sitting (or more accurately in my case, lying) I managed to get through Valentino: The Last Emperor, Grey Gardens, Glen O’Brien’s interviews with Leandra Medine and Gisele Bündchen, the entire series of ā€˜In And Out Of Fashion’ (where the Executive Editor of Harper’s Bazaar, Laura Brown shares off the cuff moments with the likes of Ciara, Jessica Alba, Kiernan Shipka, and Lena Dunham) in addition to many, many (maaaany) runway collections.

And I can happily report that I indeed felt much better for it, ergo: fashion is medicinal and should be consumed regularly… which I of course will be now that I have you, M2M!
