You may recall a feature we ran on Kelly Searl a few weeks ago, where she shared her well edited go-tos for flowers, homewares, cocktails and all the rest.

But it doesn’t end there!

We also got to spend an afternoon with Pony Rider‘s Creative Director in her wonderful, wonderful home (and trust me, I’m not using these 2 ‘wonderfuls’ lightly – her place is SO ridiculously good) peeking into her wardrobe whilst exchanging tips on flea markets, booby bras and the virtues of polka-dot tees.

Oohhhhhh ok, probably native American, vintage, eclectic, simple, random.

My go-to outfit is…
Jeans and my polka dot t-shirt.

On the top of my wish list is…
Dot t-shirts.

Heels or flats?
Well I have these Nikes that have a heel in them. They are like my perfect shoe – a total combo pack!

The best (fashion) lesson I’ve learnt is…
What fashion lesson? I probably break fashion lessons all the time. I would just say balance is key!

My most recent fashion purchase is…
Knickers from Kmart & my new Isabel Marant mockies.

I keep buying more…
Socks. I swear I have a sock monster living in my house.

I need more…
T-shirts. They seem to disappear.

I wish I’d never bought…
My leopard running pants, they look ridiculous on me.

If I could only keep 3 things in my wardrobe, they would be…
Denim, suede and cotton cowboy shirts.

My favourite labels are…
Isabel Marant, Bassike, World, Karen Walker, One Teaspoon, Sass & Bide and vintage stuff… more vintage then brands I would say.

I always feel happy when I wear…
My ‘I Love Sundays’ t-shirt and my new Isabel Marant mockies.

I wish I’d never got rid of…
My booby bra.

Any outfit looks better with…
A jacket

Is it better to be overdressed or underdressed?
Over dressed! You can always down dress once you arrive.

Lipstick or gloss?
Gloss.

Coffee or tea?
Definitely tea. I think I drink about 6 cups a day

I could happily live the rest of my life without seeing another…
Hair scrunchy. Big in the 80’s but my daughter’s dance group have been sporting a few.
