I’ve long been a fan of the double-breasted blazer’s handsome, storied ways.

Indeed the more classic, square-cut styles are so wonderfully adaptable, affording us no end of styling options (read:  just a shirt; shirt+knit;  shirt+knit+scarf;  shirt+knit+scarf+trench… you get the picture).

So, in my professional opinion, the double-breasted blazer is the perfect winter coat alternative (especially for those of us that have commitment issues with the purchase of a proper “how-many-weeks-of-the-year-will-I-really-wear-this” winter coat).
