You may already be familiar with this popular quote, but I reckon Karl is selling this much loved staple short – drawstring waistbands have come a long way in recent years.

Due to the rise of that wonderful genre: ‘Sports Luxe’, all-things-athletic have been embraced for the everyday (and night). It’s not uncommon to now see this comfy classic teamed with everything from slides to strappy heels.

The trick is finding the right (flatteringly slim-cut, subtly drop-crotched) pair.
