I’ve drunk the Kelly Wearstler ‘Kool-Aid’.

When it comes to interior design, I’m a massive fan of her ‘Hollywood Regency’ signature of traditional lines blended with striking, modern, colourful pieces. A great example of her work can be found at my all-time favourite hotel, Avalon in Beverly Hills.

With such a distinctive style and devoted following (the New Yorker once called her the presiding grande dame of West Coast interior design) it would seem a natural extension that she now designs her own line of bed linen, rugs, crockery, wall paper and decorative interior pieces.

But it was her recent venture into fashion that has hooked me. Her collection of necklaces, earrings, cuffs and rings in 18kt gold, agate, lapis, malachite, onyx and mother of pearl are fantastically unique and identifiably her.
